There are several problems that are overcome by adopting a multiwaveband approach. for example, decoupling disc and atmospheric contributions, that affects spectral type determination and higher accuracy in spectral type determination is needed.

There is a lack of ongoing multiwaveband monitoring which could be filled with a common database where individuals can share their results and observations.

For a start it would be interesting to see for how many sources we actually have satisfactory multi-wavelength data - rather few, right?

There was a proposition to compile a shortlist of systems which would be interesting for the professionals and accessible for smaller telescopes. Anyone volunteering to set up that list?
